If you want to increase magnification, I highly recommend getting a red dot magnifier. The Razor has 9.25 inches of eye relief & the RMR has 3.8 inches of eye relief.īoth have unlimited eye box so no need for any kind of measurements to see the sight with both eyes open. The Vortex battery lasts for 250 hours compared to Trijicon’s 100 hours. Trijicon RMR uses 3 AA batteries and the Vortex uses 1 lithium ion battery which is more powerful. It has a 5 year life span on one battery and is very light compared to the RMR’s 2-3 year life span on one battery and great for those that want a lightweight red dot! The Trijicon RMR: 10 year life span on one battery. The Vortex Razor has amazing battery life, like the Vortex Venom and Viper. However, it has better glass clarity than the Razor since the Razor is more of a single dot sight compared to the Trijicon RMR. This causes it to be less clear than the Razor. The Trijicon’s dot is very clear and crisp, but the black ring around the dot sucks. The Vortex Razor like its cousin, the Vortex Strikefire II, has no black ring around the dot and it is much clearer. So if you are ready to find out which red dot is best for you, read on! Most people ask me which one is the best and I tell them that it all depends on what they want. I am writing a review about Vortex Razor vs Trijicon RMR Red Dot comparison.
